Margot Stern, President
About Me: My family is relatively new to Alabama. We moved from Colorado to Huntsville a little over 2 years ago. This is my second year on the PTA board and I am honored to serve as president the upcoming school year. I have two daughters at MSE, Joslin is going into 2nd grade and Anna is starting Kindergarten. We are grateful to have landed in such a wonderful part of Huntsville.
Why I love MSE: I love how kind the students are to one another. It truly is noticeable. Whether at school or at a Spirit Night or out in the community, I have always found the Monte Sano students to take good care of one another. What a gift!
Fun Facts: 1) I was born and raised in New Hampshire, the granite state 2) I sailed to South America in high school 3) I cannot wink (no matter how hard I try!!)

Kristine Clark, President Elect
About Me: My family moved onto the mountain last summer after we decided to stay long term in Huntsville. We are so happy to have joined this community! We have 2 daughters, Ada and Iris, who will be in 4th grade and pre-k respectively. This is my first year on the PTA board and I am looking forward to being more involved with the school!
Why I love MSE: The compassion, commitment and understanding the administration and teachers show the students on a daily basis is unmatched. The community also comes together in a way that I haven’t seen elsewhere! We were welcomed into the MSE family so warmly and swiftly last year that it made the move to a new school a seamless transition.
Fun Facts: 1) I have spent most of my life moving, having moved 21 times! I was born in Seattle, but grew up in Frankfurt, Germany. I’ve lived in 4 countries. Aside from Frankfurt, this is the first time I am planting roots somewhere! 2) In addition to English, I at one point spoke German and Spanish fluently and Italian conversationally (most are quite rusty, but still floating around my brain!) 3) I love to cook and bake. My kitchen is an endless stream of (somewhat controlled) chaos! If you need an ingredient or a random kitchen utensil, chances are I have it! -
